(RALEIGH) – Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s son Craig will be in North Carolina Saturday, Sept. 15, to help volunteers knock on doors. He’ll start in Charlotte at 12:30 at a barbecue and later in the afternoon Craig will be at the grand opening of the Romney Victory Office in Gastonia. That will increase the number of Romney campaign offices in North Carolina to 25. Also Saturday Alabama Congresswoman Martha Roby will be at the Raleigh Victory Office for a campaign kick off event at 9:30 in the morning. She’ll also make an appearance for Romney in Greensboro Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, campaign volunteers for President Obama plan a voter registration drive in Garner Saturday. It starts at a shopping center at McCullers Crossing off Fayetteville Rd. at 9:00 in the morning. The Obama campaign now has 52 offices in North Carolina.
