ACORN – Now You See Them, Now You Don’t

In an article I published on the Civitas site in January, I noted how ACORN has woven itself into the fabric of the left in North Carolina. Now we see an article by Ben Smith on Politico that ACORN is supposedly shutting down:

“The ACORN Association Board met on Sunday March 21 and approved a set of steps to responsibly manage the process of bringing its operations to a close over the coming months. These include:…”

While it would be nice to think they were going away, the truth is they have already started “re-branding” to hide their identity. New groups have already formed andwill pick up where ACORN left off:

This does not look like an organization going away, it looks like an organization running away from it’s past and hoping to fool people. In North Carolina it is not yet clear what  ACORN will look like in the future but it is a safe bet that it will still have an influence on the left!

Obama and his administration is doing everything to protect Acorn and their coruption. Obama goes to another country and tell them to clean up their coruption. does this sound like a man that should get the bean pole out of his own eye before telling someone else to ge ta splinter out of theirs. Maybe if Obama would clean up his own coruptions within his administration then it would make more since.
