The State Board of Elections has posted the first absentee data of the 2010 General Election. The raw numbers are:
18,579 requests for absentee ballots by mail
15,593 ballots have been mailed
11,096 requests are attributed to either military or overseas voters
9,787 of the military and overseas voter requests were made prior to January 2010
15 records have a ballot return date between October 17, 2008 and December 10, 2008
4 records have return dates of September 17, 2010, but 2 of these records are recorded as One-Stop votes (one-stop voting does not begin until 10/14/2010)
