Beware, public employee unions are lobbying at the General Assembly today for the right to collectively bargain. The group organizing the effort, H.O.P.E – Hear Our Public Employees – desires the repeal of a North Carolina law prohibiting collective bargaining between North Carolinian’s public employers and employees. According to literature handed out by the group, the NAACP, the North Carolina Council of Churches and the North Carolina Justice Center support the effort to repeal the prohibition. There is no better way for public employees to break the state’s bank wide open. As though unions are not powerful enough already…
