There has never been a more beautiful veil for socialism as Global Warming, I mean Climate Change. Never has the political left been able to more clearly advance their assault on freedom. With such a viewpoint the imperative is to replace freedom with regulation at all levels. The logic here is that our freedoms are endangering the planet. Though quiet for most of the rather cool summer, the righteous enviromovement has returned and sea levels are rising with the rhetoric. From Wilmington today.
Climate experts came to the Port City today to talk about sea level rise. Some of their findings don’t bode well for our coast. Our coastline is being attacked by polar ice caps thousands of miles away, and its happening faster than we think. Sea level around the world is on the rise and experts visiting Wilmington Tuesday said the latest numbers leave part of Wilmington underwater.

Sadly, what we should actually be concerned about is scientific truth. But science has become the pursuit of dollars for a predetermined outcome. Short version, if your science will show warming is real, we will fund it. It is the equivalent of a modern Dark Age where science is being abandoned willingly to embrace a political philosophy.
