Vote Tracker Update – April 9, 2012

According to the State Board of Elections data, 1,433 voters have returned their absentee ballots to their county board of elections office.  So far the breakout of ballots returned by party looks like this:

Democrat          596
Republican       508
Unaffiliated       324
Libertarian            5

But, Unaffiliated voters are eligible to vote either a Democratic, Republican or non-partisan ballot and so far unaffiliated voters have overwhelmingly requested Republican ballots:

Democratic          82
Republican         156
non-partisan        85

Mecklenburg, Guilford and Pitt counties are all out-voting Wake County at this time.  Click here to find out how your county is voting.
