Look to NCVoteTracker.com to Follow Early Voting in NC

Today is the first day of one-stop voting (in-person early voting).  The first day’s turnout numbers will be reflected on NC Vote Tracker (www.ncvotetracker.com) tomorrow morning.

We’ve watched the absentee by-mail numbers track up in the last few weeks, but those numbers will look minuscule compared to the first day of one-stop.

In 2008, 54,623 votes had been cast the day before one-stop began – the next day the totals had jumped to 176,835 votes cast – that’s 122,215 more votes than the day before – approximately 116,500 of those votes were one-stop votes.

In 2008, the day before one-stop began: 30,048 Republicans, 15,780 Democrats and 8,772 Unaffiliated voters had voted.  After the first day of one-stop the numbers by party changed — Republicans 56,731, Democrats 91,175 and Unaffiliated voters 27,849.

Whatever happens at the early voting sites today – all you have to do is take a look at www.ncvotetracker.com tomorrow morning to get the whole picture.

We have added a new feature to ncvotetracker, now you can click on a button to see what was happening at the same point in time in 2008.

Hey there, I’m a new blogger coming from Eradu South, Australia who found you on http://www.civitasreview.com/elections-campaigns/look-to-ncvotetracker-com-to-follow-early-voting-in-nc/. Do you have any helpful hints for up-and-coming writers? I’m hope to
start my own site very soon but I’m a bit lost on everything. Could you recommend starting off with a free platform like eggBlog or go for a paid choice? There are so many choices out there that I’m quite overwhelmed.
    .. What would you say?
