Michael Mann, that oh so exciting climate change advocate, says he’s tired of being made fun of after ClimateGate exposed much of the mythology behind Global Warming advocation. The investigations into his shoddy science were shabby at best and now he’s steaming (be careful you might emit a bit of CO2 there Mike). In fact he’s so mad about a viral YouTube video he’s threatening court action. And most of us hope he does go to court.
“The guy is crazy to threaten legal action,” said Jeff Davis, the President of No Cap and Trade, a large organization that includes the group Mann is threatening to sue, Minnesotans for Global Warming. “A lawsuit would give us full discovery — and there’s a lot to look at in his work.”
Here’s a link to the video, it’s cheap and funny. It had over 500,000 hits on YouTube and was then re-posted. ”Hide the Decline” refers to the fact that Mann has minimized historic warm periods and cooling trends in the present. (fun with technicalities trying to embed the video, LOL) Wouldn’t it actually be nice if this did end up in court so that the left would have to PROVE their science was actually science?
Reminder, as taxpayers in NC we are paying 10% MORE for our utility bills because we’re being forced to buy renewable, expensive power based on this shoddy science. Wouldn’t that money be useful to create jobs and lower unemployment in NC?
