    “Occupy Raleigh” Runs Up Tab for Taxpayers; Focus Anger at the Wrong People

    “Occupy D.C.” advocacy lands public radio host in hot water

    NPR has stopped distributing a cultural program due to a producer’s ties to the “Occupy Wall Street” movement.     State Unemployment Rate Continues to Rise

    The North Carolina Employment Security Commission reported the state unemployment rose in September from 10.4 percent to 10.5 percent. Still above the national rate.
